E-News Update

Hello All,

With Labor Day weekend behind us, and families gearing up for the start of a new school year, it's a good time to review PennDOT's back-to-school bus safety tips.

Although the longer, fun and more relaxing days of summer are behind us, you will find a number of community events on our website that are being planned for your enjoyment this fall. These include the Newtown Borough PBA BBQ Fundraiser, Newtown Theatre's Annual Black & White Dinner, Market Day, Light the Night Pink, Newtown Library 5K on Market Day, Haunted Hustle 5K, Turkey Trot 5k (honoring Officer Brian S. Gregg), and more.

Stay informed by scrolling down to our Newtown Borough News on our homepage. There is important advice for property owners from the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office we encourage you to read to protect the investment in your home.

This month, Borough Council be meeting on Wednesday, September 3rd and Tuesday, September 16th. Please visit our website calendar to verify times, locations, agendas and remote accessibility. Do note, however, that participation in public comment requires in-person attendance.

We have a few more 2025 Volunteer Opportunities for your consideration. We greatly appreciate our volunteers and couldn't accomplish all that we do without you!

As always, we invite you to forward this email and encourage new neighbors to sign up for E-News Alerts too.

Best regards,

Newtown Borough Mayor & Council
