Newtown Borough
E-News Update

Hi All,

We hope you've been enjoying summer and are managing to stay cool in the summer heat.

A lot of great events have taken place this summer, but do scroll down on our website home page to see more that have been added. There is Music on the Street, the Newtown Theatre's Annual Black & White Dinner, Market Day, Light the Night Pink, and if you're interested in 5K walks/runs, we have the Newtown Library 5K on Market Day, Haunted Hustle 5K, and Turkey Trot 5k (honoring Officer Brian S. Gregg) coming up.

Stay informed by scrolling down to our Newtown Borough News on our homepage. Note that this is the final month to take our Environmental Advisory Council's landscape survey. Created by local volunteers, the survey is a first step toward starting a community-wide dialogue on the topic —and aims to gather input, gauge interest and hear your thoughts.

This month, we'll be meeting on August 6th and August 20th. Please visit our website calendar to verify times, locations, agendas and remote accessibility. Do note, however, that participation in public comment requires in-person attendance.

We have a few more 2025 Volunteer Opportunities for your consideration. We greatly appreciate our volunteers and couldn't accomplish all that we do without you!

As always, we invite you to forward this email and encourage new neighbors to sign up for E-News Alerts too.

Best regards,

Newtown Borough Mayor & Council
