We hope you enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend and are looking forward to the beginning of summer. Five additional special events were approved last month for your continued enjoyment as seen on our website calendar.

Our Walk Friendly Newtown Committee has provided us with Drive Like Your Friend is Walking, a reminder to drivers and pedestrians to be mindful that we're all sharing the road and want everyone to remain safe.

Thank you to those who moved their vehicles to help us maximize our annual street sweeping efforts last month. We succeeded in removing 38 yards of debris from our streets which in turn keeps it out of our creek.

We will be consolidating our June Borough Council meetings, conducting all business for the month at the June 4th Work Session. Please visit our website calendar to verify the time, location, agenda and remote access via Zoom. Do note, however, that participation in public comment requires in-person attendance.

Thank you to all who play a role in keeping our borough such a desirable place to be. We invite you to consider one of the few remaining 2025 Volunteer Opportunities that may align with your interests.
