ROAD CLOSURE AND DETOUR
Barclay Street between Dunham Place and Whitman Drive

Newtown Borough is advising residents and motorists that a section of Barclay Street will be closed to through traffic on the dates listed below while a contractor working on behalf of PECO replaces utility poles in the area.
Work Location
Barclay Street, between Dunham Place and Whitman Drive. The contractor will be replacing a total of four (4) utility poles. Because the roadway in this area is narrow, traffic cannot safely pass the work zone and will be detoured.

All dates are weather-permitting and subject to change.
Detour Information
Traffic will be detoured around the work zone during working hours. Please follow posted detour signs and the direction of flaggers on site.
