The PECO project invests $1.7 million in Newtown Borough and a small portion of Newtown Township as part of the company’s proactive efforts to upgrade the local natural gas distribution system. The project is critical to meeting the growing need and demand for safe, reliable, affordable natural gas for our customers in Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, and across Bucks County.
During the past several months, PECO has been working to finalize plans and invited residents and business owners to join them for an information session on June 18 at 6 p.m. to learn more about the project. The session was held at the Chancellor Center at 30 N. Chancellor St, Newtown, PA, 18940. During the session, the public heard from PECO's team about the timing and work details related to the project. This meeting was not live streamed. If you have any questions regarding the details of this project, please email PECO at gasworkinquiries@exeloncorp.com.
