Special Borough Council Meeting on Residential Trash Haulers
Borough Council is seeking public input as we consider whether to contract with a single trash hauler to serve all the residences in the Borough. Municipalities that have done this report less traffic and noise, less wear and tear on the roads, and reasonable cost. We especially want to know what services you would like included in a contract (such as frequency of pick-up for trash, yard waste, or bulk items). We will also discuss the process we'd follow the make the change, should Council decide to move forward.
