Clean Air and Water Council is a non-Profit environmental Organization that consists of Bucks County volunteers that have been working to Preventing Elcon Recycling from building a hazardous chemical waste facility in the Keystone Industrial Port complex in falls Township that is located at 100 Dean Sievers Place (formerly US Steel). Our River is not the location for any additional hazardous waste sites.

Elcons\’s prosposed site is approximately 800 yards from Biles Creek/Delaware river. The Philadelphia Water Department  (PWD) stated to the Department Of Environmental Protection (DEP) “that a spill, leak,or other accident could result in toxic chemicals being released into  the Delaware River, forcing the termination of drinking water for millions of people for approximately 3.75 days . Acccording to the PWD this would be  a “catastrophic “ event.

Elcon is in their 3rd and final phase and is said to be completed in May 2019.

Newtown supervisors have signed a Resolution in 2016 along with a dozen other townships advising that Falls Township deny Elcon building in Falls township.

WHAT CAN WE DO NOW.  MOST IMPORTANT IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR EXPERT WITNESSES.
